If a user account has a status of Disabled Due to Inactivity, what does that mean and how can I re-enable the account?

As a security measure, we automatically disable accounts that have been inactive for 1 year or more. If someone is attempting to sign in and they see a message stating their account has been disable due to inactivity, this is likely the cause.

To reactivate the account, follow the following steps. Note that a Student account is being used for demonstration purposes, but this applies to any account type.

1. Click on Users & Groups

2. Click on Students (or the correct User Type)

3. Search for the user and click the 3 dots

4. Click on Edit

5. Check the box next to "Allow Inactive Login"

6. Click on Save Changes
