How do I approve my students' self-reported work-based learning events?

1. Click on Careers in the navigation menu

2. Click on Work Based Learning in the navigation manu

3. In this example, the self-reported WBL type was Community Service

4. If there are unapproved events, you will see the list of events
On the flip side, if there aren't any unapproved events, you will see a list of all students you have access to that also have hours of this type to see a total count of hours for each student.

5. Review the event details
Here you can see the start and end date/time of the event and a description of what the student did there. You can also see that the student typed in the employer/organization the event was related to. We utilize AI to try to match up what they typed to employers in your instance. You will need to select the employer record that matches the student's event. If the employer doesn't exist, you will need to create one.

6. Choose the employer record related to the student's event

7. Click on the green checkmark to match the employer and approve the event

8. Click on the red X to reject the event
