How can I manage the industry and opportunity types for an exisiting employer?

1. Navigate to your Employers

2. Click the action button of the Employer record you would like to edit

3. Click Edit in the menu

4. Scroll to the Industry Sector dropdown

5. Select the relevant Industry Sector from the list

In this example, the industry was set to Accommodation and Food Services.

6. Once you set an industry sector, you will see additional options to set the Career Cluster and Pathway, as shown below (optional)

In this example, the cluster and pathway were set to Hospitality & Travel / Tourism.

7. Click the Opportunity Types dropdown.

You can select multiple opportunity types from this dropdown. These opportunity types are the same types used when setting the General WBL Type in the Work-Based Learning module.

11. Click on Save Changes

In this example, multiple Opportunity Types were selected for this Employer. This accurately shows the extent of the Employer’s willingness to participate in work-based learning.
