How do I set my work availability?
Last updated About 9 hours ago
Your work availability tells your WBL coordinator which days and times you're able to work, and helps match you to opportunities with compatible hours. It's found under My Preferences β Work Availability, right next to your favorite job titles.

Setting your schedule
For each day of the week (Sunday through Saturday):
Check the box next to the day to turn it on.
Enter a start time and end time for when you're available that day.
Click the + button to add another time window on the same day (for example, if you're available both before and after school).
Click the trash icon next to a time window to remove it.
If you're available any time on a given day, leave both the start and end time blank for that day's window β as the form reminds you: "Leave both times blank if you are available at any time that day."
Copying a day's schedule to other days
If several days share the same schedule, you don't have to enter it repeatedly:
Click the copy icon next to the day you already filled in.
In the flyout that appears, check the days you want to copy that schedule to.
Click Copy. Note that this replaces any existing times already set on the target days.

Saving
Click Save Availability when you're done. You'll see a confirmation: "Your work availability has been saved."
A few validation rules to keep in mind:
If you enter a start time, you must also enter an end time (and vice versa).
A start time must be earlier than its end time.
Time windows on the same day can't overlap.
You can't combine an "any time" window with specific time windows on the same day.
How your availability is used
Your availability doesn't block you from browsing or expressing interest in any opportunity. Instead, it helps your WBL coordinator understand whether an opportunity's hours are realistic for your schedule. If there's a mismatch, coordinators may see a Possible schedule conflict note when reviewing you as a candidate β it's just a heads-up for them, not something that removes you from consideration.
